Fly from Addis Ababa on Ethiopian Airlines
to Arba Minch (approximately 80 minutes).
From Arba Minch, proceed to Konso Road and
then ask for Swaynes Hotel.
OPTION 2
You can also drive 500 km on a smooth asphalt-road
for about 7-8 hours through the Great Rift
Valley wetlands (Ziway, Abyata, Shalla, Langano,
Abaya, and Chamo lakes). On
the way, you will enjoy spectacular views
and scenery as well as see many villages
and people. Obviously these wetlands and
lakes are well known for their ecological
diversities and can add enjoyment to your
trip.
Details:
From Arba Minch, drive south toward Ziway
via the towns of Mojo and Nazret. From there
continue to Sodo passing through two major
towns, Shashamene and Awasa. Then drive
from Sodo to Arba Minch.
